Conditions We Treat

PTSD

PTSD can happen to anyone. It is not a sign of weakness. Research indicates that up to 8% of the U.S. population experiences PTSD at some point in their lives.

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a number of factors can increase the chance that someone will develop PTSD, many of which are not under that person’s control. For example, if you were directly exposed to the trauma or injured, you are more likely to develop PTSD. The condition is a serious problem that impacts the mental well-being of both children and adults. If you believe that you or a loved-one may be suffering from PTSD, the providers at You In Mind Behavioral Health will complete a thorough assessment and work with you to develop the best course of treatment.
